David L. Osgood is a highly experienced wealth management executive with over 35 years in financial services; specializing in financial & legacy planning, investment management, Trust & Estate services and private banking.  As Executive Vice President of Caldwell Trust Company, David is focused on delivering highly personalized service to clients, their families and the philanthropic organizations they support.  His career includes a distinguished tenure at Bank of America’s Merrill Lynch and U.S. Trust, where he was Managing Resident Director of the Vero Beach Merrill office which held client assets under management exceeding $4.5 billion.  In addition, he oversaw advisor development and played a key role on the Treasure Coast Leadership Committee, coordinating business development strategies across multiple divisions.  He also received the Pinnacle Award in 2017-2018 for exceeding growth targets and driving substantial asset in-flow to the organization. 

Previously, David served as a Senior Banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, expanding the bank’s footprint across Florida, and a Senior Director of Wealth Management at Bank of New York Mellon.  His leadership extended into community involvement, where he held roles with the Indian River Hospital Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, United Way, the Rotary Club, and United Against Poverty.  A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an AWMA® certification, David combines financial acumen with a deep commitment to client-centered solutions, making him a highly respected figure in wealth management and community service.
